Belgrade International Architecture Week (BINA) was established in 2006 under the patronage of the ABA and the Belgrade Cultural Centre as a festival that encourages and promotes intercultural dialogue, trans-national cooperation and mobility in the field of architecture. From the very beginning, the BINA festival established itself as a wide platform for observation and reflection on urban space, with a particular focus on including the broadest possible audience (ranging from professionals and students to children) in processes related to the change and improvement of their environment. Over the past decade, the festival has gathered a great number of experts and creative, enabling a rich exchange of ideas and experiences, and providing a link between the dynamic practices of Europe and Serbia. BINA’s collaborations are projects that establish a dialogue between contemporary global tendencies and local creative efforts and industries.
