Between Vacuum and Energy
In the video, Saimir Kristo - Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at POLIS University presents the overall activities and philosophy behind POLIS University and Co-PLAN - its research institute with high experience in habitat development and informal settlements, in particular, the periphery of Tirana. Prof. Artan Fuga, a professor at POLIS University and a member of the Academy of Sciences in Albania, elaborates the POLIS University's perspective on the topic "Landscapes of Care" which is embedded in the spirit of its academic curriculum, its impact in the academic community, its students, and Albania in general.

Tirana Architecture / Design Weeks (TAW/TDW) is an interdisciplinary activity organized from POLIS University and works to promote the exchange of knowledge between professionals at both the national and international level in order to increase the public’s interest in architecture, art, and design as disciplines that are closely connected to the contemporary development of cities. As an intellectual platform in order to link Albania in the international scene works to enhance interaction between professionals and the general public, together also with the city, to broaden participation in decision-making and development processes.
